The rabbit hole is real as well as symbolic. As one first enters the rabbit hole the experience may be unique for each individual. Some may find it interesting or intriguing. Some worthless and a waste of their time. Some, the experience is frightening or disturbing. Some, it is addictive even crazy making. For a few individuals, the trip into the rabbit hole is a necessity, for truth in all its forms drives these individuals. I am one of these. I want to know the truth of reality and all of its implications which means I want more than just knowledge, I desire understanding as well. To that end I must pass this piece of knowledge along to those who wish to enter the rabbit hole. There are prices one must pay for the knowledge obtained within the rabbit hole. The deeper one goes, the prices that one pays become “deeper” as well. Please realize that some knowledge with its understanding is not worth the price required in payment. I recognize that there are deep paths down within the rabbit hole that I am NOT willing to venture. The price is not just to steep, but you are changed in ways that can never be reversed. I have paid many prices for knowledge and understanding and I have changed in many ways (most all of which I hope to be for the better). I have come to the edge of the abyss a few times in my life and have looked down within. I refuse to enter to know what is deeper down. The price is too high, the change is not what I seek. There are extremes within the rabbit hole. To know one extreme means to never know the other except by a very select few such as Christ Himself. I have met no human that falls into that category of progression. Those who think they are there suffer from extreme hubris and their fate will fall, if they are not ever so careful, at the wrong end of the rabbit hole. I would leave these words to those who venture down the rabbit hole, especially for the first time:
